Note from Veena

This is a place to return to — not for product, but presence

Sakkath was never about starting a business. It began from being close to something

Veena loved — fabric, memory, people.

The first fabric was chiffon. Not her material today, but its feeling remains.

This is not just a brand. It is a way of remembering. A way of carrying what is already yours.

Not a product, but a presence.

Dear World,

We began with a feeling: fabric holds memory.
Every weave carries stories of women, families, seasons.
Sakkath exists to keep them alive while making space for new ones.
Not bound by tradition. Not chasing trend.
Garments made to last. Garments made to remember.

Sakkath is a textile brand born from Veena Derick’s lived memories — sarees and garments as vessels of care, continuity, and quiet power. It reclaims Indian craft as a radical, memory-led design language for today.

For the next 5 years, it will expand from sarees into garments,

carrying the same philosophy: memory in motion, fabric as feeling.
